Little girls will get the chance to dress up in their mother’s clothes and show off their outfits at a book reading and signing by Mississippi {author} Alice Mitchell, who will be visiting the Cutrer Mansion at the Coahoma County Higher Education Center Feb. 1.
At 10:20 a.m., Mitchell will read her book, “My Mama’s Closet,” to the audience at this free event, after which she also will sign copies of the book.
A Mother/Daughter Tea will follow at 11 a.m., also at the Cutrer Mansion.
